Welcome to Frounder. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of frounder.in (the "Site") and every purchase made on it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of them.

1. Who we are

The Site is owned and operated by Kamlesh Menaria, a proprietorship trading as Craftsmen and operating the brand Frounder ("Frounder", "we", "us"), with its principal place of business at 09, Bhuwana Bypass Chouraha, Sukher, Udaipur, Rajasthan, 313001.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order on the Site.

3. Products

Our bags and accessories are crafted from genuine leather. Leather is a natural material: grain, texture and shade vary from piece to piece, and every product develops a patina with use. Such variation is a characteristic of the material, not a defect. Product images are as accurate as photography and screens allow; minor differences in colour may occur.

4. Pricing

All prices on the Site are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are Maximum Retail Prices inclusive of all taxes, including GST. Shipping is free across India — the price you see is the price you pay. We take care to keep pricing accurate; in the rare case of an obvious pricing or stock error, we may cancel the affected order before dispatch and refund you in full.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to purchase. It is accepted when we dispatch your items and send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order prior to dispatch — for example, for suspected fraud, pricing or stock errors, or delivery serviceability issues — in which case any amount paid is refunded in full to your original payment method.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment gateways. We do not store your card details, UPI PIN or banking passwords. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available across serviceable PIN codes.

7. Shipping & delivery

Shipping is free across India. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days (personalised pieces take a little longer) and typically delivered within 3–7 business days. Full details, including what to do if a parcel arrives damaged, are in our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns, refunds & warranty

Our Return & Refund Policy governs all returns. In brief: manufacturing defects are entirely on us, including return shipping; unused items in original condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery with return shipping arranged and paid by you; personalised items cannot be returned except where faulty; refunds reach your original payment method within 5–7 business days of our receiving the return.

Every Frounder piece carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear, the natural ageing and patina of leather, misuse, accidental damage, exposure to water or chemicals, or alterations or repairs by third parties.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Personalisation

Monogrammed and personalised items are made to your specification and cannot be returned or exchanged except where faulty. Please check spelling and initials carefully before confirming your order — we emboss exactly what you confirm.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — product designs, photographs, text, logos and the Frounder name and marks — belongs to us or is used under licence, and is protected under applicable Indian law. It may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our prior written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including by attempting to interfere with its operation or security, placing fraudulent orders, posting false or misleading reviews, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This clause does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer is:

Every complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours with a ticket number you can use to track its status, and resolved within one month of receipt.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach the consumer commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version live on the Site at the time you place an order applies to that order.
