Return & Refund Policy

We want you to keep your Frounder for decades, not days. If something is not right, this policy sets out exactly how we make it right.

1. Manufacturing defects

Entirely on us. If your piece has a manufacturing defect, write to us and we will arrange and pay for the return shipping, then repair, replace, or refund. Defective, deficient or wrongly delivered items are never your cost to bear.

2. Replacements

Free. Where we send a replacement, we cover shipping both ways.

3. Change of mind

Unused items in their original condition — with tags, dust bag and packaging intact — may be returned within 30 days of delivery. You arrange and pay for the return shipping to our address below; we handle everything else. We recommend a tracked courier service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

4. Personalised pieces

Monogrammed items are made for you alone and cannot be returned or exchanged, except where faulty.

5. Damaged in transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and packaging. Transit damage is treated exactly like a manufacturing defect — we arrange and cover everything.

6. What cannot be returned

  • Items that have been used, or returned without tags, dust bag or original packaging.
  • Items damaged by misuse, water or chemical exposure, or third-party alteration.
  • Natural characteristics of leather — variation in grain, texture and shade, and the patina that develops with use — which are not defects.
  • Personalised items, except where faulty.

7. How to start a return

Write to support@frounder.in with your order number. For defects or transit damage, attach photographs — it helps us resolve things in a single exchange. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours with a reference number you can use to track it.

8. Refunds

Once your return reaches us and passes inspection, your refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a little additional time to reflect it. For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are made by bank transfer or UPI to details you provide.

9. One-year warranty

Every Frounder piece is covered for one year from delivery against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear, leather's natural ageing, misuse, accidental damage, or repairs by third parties. To make a warranty claim, write to support@frounder.in with your order number and photographs.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
